| its very common knowledge about the long term reliability problems associated with the rx-7. and here's another fact maybe you didnt know, mazda never ever broke even on the sale of the rx-7, due to warranty claims for blown and worn engines in hot climates and various other factors. having worked on multiple mazda's over the years ive come to know that they skimp where they can on quality, and the rx-7 is a prime example. true it can be made into an awesome car, but everything is relative, you can make a civic have 1200 hp and run 7's if you have the money, so thats not the issue. another great thing to notice is how they just recently took a out a multi billion dollar loan from the 7 sisters in japan to keep the company afloat or they would have folded this year. i was under the impression everyone knew about that....
